Client

We have developed this application for an US based company which specializes in new construction, acquisition/sale, refurbishment, property management, disaster solutions, roofing, and co working spaces. .  

Project Description 

Our client has started his property inspection business with a manual reporting system, that means during the inspection process, the technicians note down the inspection data in a preprinted form and after they come back to the office , they will generate the inspection report by manual.

In the manual reporting system, our client has faced many issues such as, unable to properly link the photos taken by camera and the inspection data noted on preprinted form, Inspection report creation process taking a long time and In some times data not properly listed out in the inspection report  due to manual errors.

To avoid the above mentioned issues, we have developed an application which helps them to take photographs during the inspection for a specific checklist and will automatically create an Inspection report pdf in a detailed manner.

Process Flow

Desktop Application:

• Capture Customer contact details
• Capture Building and its area details that need to be inspected
• Use existing or create own checklist for the Areas
• Assign Inspectors to inspection
• Create Inspection report and send it to the client via email

iPad Application:

• Technician, Create an Inspection for a customer
• Based on the Building and Area selection, checklists will display with the capability of capturing multiple photos for each checklist.
• Each checklist will auto populate the related input controls.

Checklist Configuration and PDF report creation processes are the main module of this application. The checklists are fully customizable by the client. They can create any number of areas, for Each area they can configure any number of checklists and for each each list they can define what types of controls to be displayed to capture the inspection data.

Team consists of One Team Leader, One Developer and One Tester.
