Overview

Marine Surveyor is a leading Company, which has experience in the repair, upgrade, and maintenance of power vessels. This application was developed to manage their Clients, Quotes, Jobs, and Surveys details.

Project Description 

Desktop:

• Clients: Received Survey request from Client. If that person is not an existing Client, they will store as new client contact data and then it will store the client’s survey request. If he is an existing client then it will store his survey request.

• Quotes: Based on the received request, here create a new Quote and then send the PDF format of Quote via email to the Client to get his Approval.

• Jobs: After getting the approval from the Client, then it will convert that Quote as a Job and then assign that Job to a Surveyor and Schedule a date for that Survey. Then, send the Order Confirmation and the Invoice PDF for that Job to the Client via email.

• Survey: Survey details are maintained here and Management can be able to see all the Surveys done by the Surveyors.

iPad Application:

• When the Surveyor logged in to his Offline iPad application, he can see all his Schedules.
•  Surveyor Select a Schedule, do the Survey and submit the Survey data and upload to the Server-side management application.

Technical Highlights

In Quotes Module, when clicks the Mail icon, it generates the quote report and sends it to the client. In the Quote report, there is a Text Link “click here to electronically sign and submit”, when clicking it will redirect to Browser by providing an option to make an electronic signature Screen after entering the signature and submit, then it will store the Quote report with signature in a database.
