The client is a construction company based in Singapore

Overview

This project is for a Construction company based in Singapore. This system manages details of Staff, Foreman report, Driver report, Photos/Receipts, Leave, and Training details.

Project Description

  1. Foreman Report: Foreman can upload their reports to a Server DB from their work location. HR/Engineer will review and post the Foreman reports and generate the reports.
  2. Driver Report: Driver can upload their reports to server DB from their work location. HR/Engineer will review and post the Driver reports and can generate reports.
  3. Photos: HR/Engineer can check the uploaded Receipts/Photos taken by Driver and Foreman and the photos can be exported.
  4. Project Documents: Documents added on the server can be downloaded by Foreman on their iPad to check the current status.
  5. Masters: Layouts for Driver, Foreman, Worker, Employee, List of Holidays, Customer, Project, Equipment and Vehicle information.
  6. Settings: Database Icons, Email settings and Company details are maintained in settings layout.
  7.  Leave: User can apply, approve, reject and cancel leave via Desktop, iPad and iPhone.
  8.  Training: The system will capture training schedule which have been verified and approved by HR. Funding and Payment details are maintained by Accounts and Finance.
  9. Employee Attendance Matrix: HR can check working hours of Driver, Foreman, and Worker in the matrix form with Date as X axis and Staff name as Y axis.
  10. Schedules: The user can check their upcoming training schedules on the Dashboard.

Technical Highlights

  1. Data Separation Model: Two databases will be hosted. One for Data and another for Layouts.
  2. Synchronization process: User will be able to add reports and photos in his offline iPad DB and sync it with the server when there is stable Internet connection.
  3. Dynamic Permission Configuration: Admin can configure (enable/block) specific modules /functions

Integration with other systems:

Integrates with PHP and MySQL to display old Project Photos (10 year old pictures).

Plugins and Special features:

     1. Base Elements Plugin – Quick select folder rather than typing the folder name.

  1. Synchronization process: User will be able to add reports and photos in his offline iPad DB and sync it with the server when there is a stable Internet connection.
  2. Monthly Leave calendar – Leave is displayed in Calendar view which helps the user to check in one-view.
  3. Server side Mail notifications to user on Password change, Account blockand leave schedule.
