The client is a leading shipping company in the United States of America.

Overview

This application is for a leading vessel agency services company for the Mississippi River. The system manages their Customer, Contacts, Facility, Terminals, Midstream Buoys, and Estimates.

Project Description

In relation to customers, the system manages the following:

• Helps to manage customer data, In list view and detail views.
• In list view:

a. View all the customer data with various type of filters.
b. Select one or more customer and send a single mail for all the selected customers.
c. Export current found set of records in PDF and Excel formats.

• In Detail view:

            a. View all details related to a customer
            b. Select a contact as the Primary Contact for the customer, as one customer can have multiple contacts.

As for Contacts, the system does the following:

• Manage contacts data and has all the functionalities of Customer.

For facilities, the system helps with the following:

• Manages the Facility and its Terminals and Midstream Buoys Estimate
• Create multiple estimates for each Facility.
• one estimate can have multiple sections such as Docking Fees, Pilot Fees, Misc, etc.
• One or more sections can estimate by Ship Owners. Even though one estimate can have multiple Ship owners, one of them is considered as the primary shipowner for each estimate.
• Each Facility has its own calculations for each section of the estimate.
• If an estimate is approved by the management then it will convert as a JobSchedules

JobSchedules: Jobs are scheduled to complete their tasks. The status for each schedule is captured until that job is completed.
